The Junior-Senior Prom is a special occasion that may have unique travel requirements. Recognizing this need, students may (with parent/guardian permission) have an automobile on campus. Students are NOT required to bring a vehicle to attend Prom. Van loops will be leaving campus every 15 minutes beginning at 4:00 PM to transport students to local restaurants and at 8:45 PM to the Museum of Life and Science. Students and their guests do not need special permission to ride the NCSSM van loop.
Students that live more than one hour away from NCSSM may bring their car to campus on Sunday, April 8th. Cars must be returned home by Thursday, May 3rd.
Students who live under one hour away from NCSSM may bring their car to campus on Friday, April 27th. Cars must be returned home by Sunday, April 29th.
Please discuss with your student which means of transportation is appropriate for them to attend prom and to participate in related activities.
Students must have a Prom ticket purchased in their name to have a vehicle on campus. All keys should be checked in at the Bryan SLI Office as soon as the car arrives on campus.
